Judy is a Montessori teacher with more than 28 years experience in the classroom working with children 3-6 years old and singing with children of all ages while giving concerts.

Judy’s main desire is to teach a peaceful way of living to children and adults alike. With this in mind she has developed an extensive and concrete peace curriculum for use in both Montessori and traditional classrooms. She enhances this curriculum with her music and guitar and offers a CD of peace and environmental songs for children. Her all-inclusive curriculum makes it easy to create and maintain a peaceful classroom.

She travels to give an excellent and lively presentation of the peace curriculum at national and regional Montessori conferences and at schools as in-service workshops for teachers.

Judy’s passion for this peace and environmental work with children began when her own son, Grant, was entering preschool and Judy began her Montessori training at Oklahoma University in Oklahoma City. Grant has now grown up to become a pediatrician and Judy continues her work with music and peace.

When not teaching and singing about peace, she enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking in the mountains of Colorado where she lives.
